Biostimulants
Biostimulant Growth Enhancers Matrix and Radicle are biostimulant growth enhancers, primarily acting on the plant’s natural auxin production processes. Matrix Matrix is formulated for use on combinable crops, it contains a rainfastening agent to provide leaf adhesion under adverse weather conditions. It is designed to have greatest activity when applied before the onset of vegetative growth. Check label for exact crop timing Radicle Radicle is specifically formulated for application to root crops. The formulation needs to be applied at specific timings for maximum effect. Check label for crop timings. The increase in natural biochemical activity generated by these products leads to: - Increased early rooting
- Earlier establishment
- Increased leaf and shoot growth
- Increase in photosynthetic area
- Increase in plant carbohydrate production
Leading to: - Higher marketable yield
- The possibility of earlier maturity and harvest
Plant Growth Hormones Plant growth does not proceed in a random or disorganised manner - it is a precise regulation of growth and differentiation.Plant Growth Hormones are chemical messengers that are synthesised in particular tissues. They are then transferred in minute quantities to specific areas where they influence the development process. Different classes of Plant Growth Hormones often exert similar developmental responses. The 3 main classes are AUXINS GIBBERELINS CYTOKININS Auxins are produced in the apical regions of stems, coleoptiles, roots and also in seeds. They effect stem and coleopitile elongation, cambial activity and the development of fruit tissues. The biosynthesis occurs principally in the shoot tip region in young expanding leaves of the apical bud and translocation occurs towards the stem base and roots. The rate of synthesis depends on environmental factors (light/dark/ season) and the developmental stage of the plant.Radix is a biostimulant growth enhancer, primarily acting on the plants' natural auxin production processes Trials Replicated trials have shown significant increases in plant height and stem/leaf dry weight, as well as overall 30% increase in rooting. Field trials on potatoes have shown that the application of Radicle increases the total number of tubers within the marketable bands leading to substantial yield benefits.
Matrix and Radicle should be foliar applied through conventional hydraulic and fan assisted sprayers. Matrix and Radicle are acidic liquids specifically formulated for rapid entry into the plant. They are compatible with a wide range of common agrochemicals where application timings coincide. Check with your agronomist BEFORE making any tank-mixes with these products. Applications of Matrix or Radicle must not be delayed after the recommended stages, as full benefit will not be obtained.
